JUMP ROPE FOR HEART DONATIONS

The PE coaches need your help in making this year’s Jump Rope for Heart event a success. This year’s event will take place on March 25 & 26. We normally offer participating students a snack and drink after the event. Please send in all donations Tuesday, March 24.

 

We are in need of any of the following:

·        Drink boxes (Capri Suns, Kool-Aid Jammers, etc.)

·        Cookies

·        Granola bars

·        Individually wrapped snacks

·        Chips

Reminders…

  • All Jump Rope for Heart collected money is due by March 26th. Our school goal was to have every student collect $5.00.
  • The event will take place during your child’s regular enrichment time.
  • Volunteers are always welcome!

Running Club Practices

We have been unable to practice with the runners for several weeks now. The weather, both rain and winter, has prevented us from using the lower field. Cobb county policy states that it must be forty degrees before we can take children outdoors for activity. Hopefully, we will not have to wait much longer.

Meet Coach Fortney!

Home_029 My name is Shantina Fortney. I have been teaching Health and Physical Education for 10 years. I have called Bryant my home for six of those years. I have also coached the following sports: basketball, volleyball, softball, cheerleading and dance. I have two wonderful children. My daughter, Madison, is 7 years old and my son, Layton, is 4 years old. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, and playing tennis. My hometown is Athens, Alabama.
